About Lincoln Hills Days

Lincoln Hills Days is more than a tour. It's an immersive journey into one of Colorado's most important cultural and historical landmarks.

Nestled in the mountains west of Denver, Lincoln Hills was established in the 1920s as one of the few vacation communities in the western United States where African Americans could own property and enjoy the outdoors during the era of segregation. Today, Lincoln Hills Cares continues to preserve this remarkable place while expanding opportunities for education, outdoor recreation, and community connection.

As part of the nationwide America 250 celebration and Colorado's Sesquicentennial, this special event honors the people who built this community and the legacy that continues today.
