Pedro Jaime Gutierrez

Outdoor Education Program Coordiantor

About Pedro

After receiving his M.A. in teaching instruction, Pedro served as a K-5 science teacher for almost a decade supporting students through data analysis, content creation, and role based learning. He has also been the Cinco De Mayo scholarship keynote speaker and was a PEAK teacher for his outstanding data results. Most recently, he served as an AmeriCorps member with Lincoln Hills Cares before he became the Outdoor Education Program Coordinator.

As a POC in this field he truly believes in supporting the whole child's love of the outdoors and representing how everyone from every background can learn to connect with nature. With every lesson he teaches he is constantly reminding all those around him that It is up to us to support the future generations of stewards to conserve the place we all call home.
