A College Forward Experience Into The Career Fields of Environmental Science

A College and Career Development Program through the Context and Identity of Lincoln Hills

About ESTEM FWD

E-STEM FWD is a Lincoln Hills Cares program designed to propel 10th - 12th Grade High School students toward success in higher education and careers in Environment, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math. Through hands-on learning, mentorship, and real-world application, students gain not only college readiness but the confidence and skills to compete and lead in E-STEM fields.

The program focuses on:

  • College Readiness: Academic support, college preparation, and scholarship opportunities
  • Career Pathways: Internships, industry mentors, and job-shadowing experiences
  • Innovation & Leadership: Problem-solving, sustainability projects, and leadership development
  • Diversity in STEM: Expanding access for students historically underrepresented in STEM careers
  • Academic Family Engagement: Develop family supports and skills for college ready students
